Nestled in leafy Herne Hill, 20 minutes away from London Victoria & Brixton stations is our head office. It’s here that we answer your calls, hold retail work shops, design product and run our website. In addition to our office on the top floor, our downstairs area boasts 1600 square feet of showroom space. Call it the place we like to get inspired and inspire. Everyone likes to touch and feel what they’re committing to buying, so we’ve filled our space with a wide range of our products from retail display, fixtures & fittings, props gift packaging and bags. It is our hope that you feel warmly invited into our creative spaces so you can identify your business needs, whether that’s packaging, retail fixtures or bags.
During your visit, you’ll be able to view:

We rotate the products in our showroom every season so that what you see is relevant and fresh for the season ahead.
In addition to having access to the products displayed, we offer a comprehensive retail display and space consultancy service. Our team can help you create cohesive visions for your business. That might simply involve helping you with product selection or counter display fixturing. Or more involved elements of branding and printed gift packaging and signage communications. Our in-house retail consultant Gerry Moss will be on hand to guide you and even build units to help you visualise our offering.

All our gift & hamper packaging lines are available from stock and in our showroom you can view them up close and personal. Like Noah’s Ark, we’ve collated 1 unit from each range and colour including gift bags & boxes, hampers, wrapping accessories and much more. Remember much of what you see here can be overprinted with your business logo or message using our printing services. Our team can talk you through this.

Sourced by our in-house prop buyer Sarah, we hold a wide range of props available to view and purchase directly from the showroom.
Sarah has a particular passion for 20th Century furniture, vintage props and decorative items. It’s a passion that propels her out of bed between 1am – 3am on market days, four days a week in search of beautifully designed objects. The props she finds are in turn used across the UK retail market for seasonal displays and window dressing.

BAGS FOR LIFE LIBRARY & STUDIO
When WBC merged with Canby Bags in 2012, our one-stop shop got even bigger. In India, we partner with the Lohariwal family business, Eco Jute, who have been making jute bags for well over 75 years.
The business started making commercial jute sacks back in the days when most goods were shipped in huge jute bags. So, when jute became a popular alternative to plastic in the late 90s, Eco-jute was one of the first to pioneer new Bags For Life.
Today, we are unique because we own and control every part of the production process with each step carefully managed and quality controlled. Firstly the best jute is chosen, then the twine created; before we weave it, dye it, laminate it, cut it, print AND sew it.
That’s the secret behind our successful joint venture and something very few can match. We’re proud to play our part in such a long-standing family tradition.

Ethically produced Bags For Life are good for the planet. It’s far better to re-use a cotton bag than to accumulate vast amounts of plastic you chuck away at the end of the day.
How green is green?
Our bags are made from natural fibres like jute, cotton or non-woven fabric. That means they’re 100% biodegradable!
We make them at our SEDEX audited factory in the beautiful Indian city of Kolkata. Yep, that’s far away, but it’s where the cash crops are grown, and so we calculate our emissions and offset them to ensure your Bags for Life are carbon neutral.
Back in 2015, we launched Cocobagh Social Business Venture, a social business venture in West Bengal that creates training and employment opportunities for widowed women in the community surrounding our production facility.
Our goal is to support and empower these women by providing them with the basic finances, the skills needed and a route to employment – so that they can afford for their children to go to school.
