WBC joins the Whole Foods Market Breakfast Run

Congratulations to Kevin, Maria and James who joined hundreds of amateur and professional runners to complete this year’s Human race – Whole Foods Market Breakfast run. Together they raised a total of £1,073 for their supported charities the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Samaritans, Born Free Foundation. If you’d like to still support them, you can do so by clicking on our ‘Golden Gussets’ Just Give page.

The fantastic day out included runners from all abilities, as well as the many ‘die-hard’ getting ready for the big London Marathon in just a few weeks. The course runs along the banks of the River Thames, past the outstanding Hampton Court Palace, over the renowned Hampton Court Bridge and finishes in Kingston. We even spotted the lucky winners walking, or rather limping away with a Whole Foods hamper housed in none other than one of our large fluted deli trays -lucky them!

So although a little sore and aching in muscles they never knew they had, our team had much fun, and an excellent cause to top it all off. Thanks to everyone who supported us.
