Mayor of Westminster drops by to pick up bags for life

It may have only been his chauffeur, but Ellerslie Square looked positively distinguished for a second or two the other day when the Lord Mayor of Westminster’s car dropped by to collect some cotton bags for life for a Charity event at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.

The bags were used to hold guest programmes, ponchos, rugs and ‘so forth’, and we even got a lovely message from the Lord Mayor thanking us for helping out at the last minute. Well, technically, it came from his private secretary, but that’s just splitting hairs.

It was of course, our pleasure.
