Wood wool is a packaging material that is made from kiln dried wood shavings. It is a natural loose fill packaging material that is both biodegradable and eco-friendly. As the woodwool is kiln dried there are no nasty chemicals used and is therefore perfectly safe to use in food hampers, with toiletries or as a pet bedding. Our wood wool comes from managed forests, where in order to maintain the health of the forest they go through an essential process of thinning it. The accumulating pine and spruce wood is then made into wood wool.
