If you’re reading this, then it’s probably a good sign! It means you’ve managed to steal a few minutes of solitude in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the busiest retail season of the year. It won’t be long now till you’re tucked up, feet up, and hopefully reaping the benefits of all your hard labour.
We know it’s not quite over yet and you’re probably run off your feet, so we’ll keep this Christmas newsletter brief and to the point. We’ve compiled a few useful last minute Christmas essentials; our opening times, a focus on wicker and some profit generating ideas including fabulous trade price Screwpull products.
And of course, Christmas wouldn’t be complete without a ‘mug-shot’ from all of us here at the WBC office and warehouse. Don’t forget, we are on hand right up to the 23rd December to help with any enquiries you might have.
Simply FREEPHONE 08000 85 85 95 to speak to our sales team.

If you’re anything like us, you’ve been experiencing significant interference with your usual delivery service these past few weeks. While we’ve tried all possible means of controlling the weather, our courier, DHL, has struggled to get orders out within our usual next day service. Whilst totally out of our control we’d like to apologise for these problems. Unfortunately this does mean that any orders placed now cannot be guaranteed delivery before Christmas.
Christmas Opening hours
Monday – Friday 8.30am - 6.30 pm
Saturdays 10am – 2pm on (please note, while we will be processing orders on Saturday goods will not be despatched until the Monday)
Closed from 5pm Thursday 23rd December – 9am 29th December.

Arona wraps it up in Newmarket.
Despite unfortunately having to cancel one workshop due to adverse weather conditions – gift wrapping extraordinaire Arona Khan braved the weather and headed to Newmarket for a gift wrapping master class. In conjunction with food association group, Tastes of Anglia, Arona worked with local producers by teaching them how to maximise their gifting opportunities.

...and ever more popular.
Let’s face it, at Christmas there’s nothing more luxurious than receiving a basket filled to the brim with extra special food and drink; it’s almost tradition. And since a wicker basket is for life and not just for Christmas, you get two gifts for the price of one! We investigated how it’s made and what it’s made from, to find a bunch of hidden benefits that explain why it’s still a WBC must have product.

Meet ‘Aussie’ Dave. Joining our motley crew in 2007,
Dave fast became an invaluable member of the WBC team. He is instrumental in setting up our 17,000 sq ft warehouse in Croydon, but sadly for us will be returning to his hometown of Melbourne in the New Year. Safely ensconced on warmer shores, he will he hopes to get more tattoos and locate his dream wife.
Dave is handing the reigns over to our newest recruit
Sebi from Barcelona who comes with buckets of

So it’s a big thank you to
Dave for bringing us all
loads of fun and laughter
- you will certainly be
missed!! We wish both
these boys the best of luck.
