We all like to get out of the office from time to time, and the WBC sales team is no different. Armed with a truckload of new products, which incidentally will feature in our new 2010 brochure out in June, Nick and the team headed down to the beautiful Devon countryside to meet the people at the forefront of quality food and drink in the West Country.
With a tag line stating ‘Grow it, process it, sell it or just eat it!’ you’d be forgiven for thinking we’d gate-crashed this year’s Taste of the West party. On the contrary, the increasing interest in our growing range of hamper, gift and deli consumables ensured we had a wonderful time meeting many of our established customers, as well as making new contacts - thank to all who swung by our stand and left with probably more ideas than they’ll ever get round to fulfilling!
As well as continuing our service to the drinks and food industry, this year we’re focusing on how farm-shops and garden centres can maximise their sales through gifting, so we’re excited by the new packaging design which you’ll soon have access to. From cup cake inserts, and slick rigid boxes, to the hottest range of picnic cooler bags, watch this space for our range of contemporary new products!
