20 inch Traditional wicker hamper basket. Beautifully handcrafted with strong faux leather fittings and cut out handles at either end to facilitate carrying. Always popular throughout the year, this large 20 inch wicker hamper is ideal for turning your carefully sourced food and wine into a beautiful gift. The generous interior will comfortably accommodate 3 magnums or 5 x 75cl Champagne bottles or wine on their side with plenty of space still to pile in caviar, cakes, hams and condiments - a wicker hamper fit for a king! Made from Chinese willow, this environmentally sustainable and fast growing wicker hamper is harvested in autumn to ensure quality and strength. Rather than staining the willow to achieve its honey colour, we boil ours for 6 – 8 hours for a more natural production process. The wicker is harvested and grown in villages and then shipped to a communal warehouse for finishing: straps, buckles and handles are attached and the wicker is sprayed with a water based eco-friendly sealant that keeps it clean and mould free.

As this product is hand-made, the size and colour varies from batch to batch, however we think this only adds to the wicker hamper’s natural charm.
